Megan Clark, founder of Skin + Spirit, was born & raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated Cum Laude with her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Post-college, Megan lived in Denver and began a career in project management. Megan’s journey took an unexpected turn when she returned to Houston in 2020, grappling with losing her job and the early pandemic chaos. Despite the shadows that enveloped her, Megan’s spirit remained resilient, seeking solace and renewal in the familiar embrace of her roots. 

From a young age, Megan cultivated a fascination with skincare, starting with a three-step routine at twelve. As she returned home, Megan’s dormant passion for skincare resurfaced with newfound intensity, becoming a lifeline in her darkest moments. Driven by a desire to heal, Megan embarked on a journey of self-discovery, enrolling in esthetics school and embracing new opportunities. Megan holds a diploma in Premier Esthetics from the CIDESCO Institute of Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Massage in Houston. After graduating at the top of her program, she became dually licensed in Texas & Louisiana. She immediately began working for highly reputable skincare companies, honing her trade and refining her skills. 

Simultaneously, she delved into meditation and crystal therapy, seeking solace and healing in spiritual practices. As she incorporated these practices into her life, Megan felt the ripples of healing extend into her facial treatments, enhancing their efficacy and results. Equipped with her education, expertise, and newfound spiritual practices, Megan began to shape her craft, developing techniques that yielded tangible results for her client’s skin. By integrating her deep understanding of skincare and intuitive connection with her clients, she could effectively address skin concerns while forming meaningful bonds beyond the surface.
